Diageo: UBS raises target price; maintains 'buy' rating

(CercleFinance.com) - UBS said it has upped its target price target for British spirits maker Diageo from 2,880 pence to 3,100 pence, while maintaining a "buy" rating on the stock.


In a note to clients, the broker said brand level trends, as well as benchmarking analysis, make it confident in the group's growth prospects for fiscal year 2018/2019 and beyond.

UBS also expects positive trading comments at the group's upcoming annual general meeting in September.
