Aviva: appoints new CEO

(CercleFinance.com) - The Aviva share is up over 4% in London on Monday morning, following the appointment of Amanda Blanc as CEO with immediate effect, replacing Maurice Tulloch who has decided to step down for family health reasons.


Amanda Blanc joined the British insurance company's board of directors in January this year, chairing the Clients, Conduct and Reputation Committee. Previously, she held senior management positions at AXA and Zurich Insurance.
