FDJ: 2020 earnings up 6%

(CercleFinance.com) - La Française des Jeux (FDJ) has announced 2020 net profit of 214 million euros, up 6% from 202 million euros (in restated figures) for 2019, with EBITDA of 427 million euros, meaning a margin of 22.
2% for revenue that is down 6% at 1.92 billion euros.

The gambling group recorded 16 billion euros in stakes over the year, down 7%, although, after a decline of 18% in the first half of the year, due to the health crisis, the gradual recovery thereafter led to a 3% increase in the second half.

FDJ's Board of Directors will propose a dividend of 80% of consolidated net profit at its AGM on 16 June, as FDJ committed to do so when it was floated on the stockmarket. The dividend of 0.90 euro per share will be paid on 23 June.
