FDJ: IPO subscriptions a huge success

(CercleFinance.com) - As part of the privatisation of La Française des Jeux (FDJ), the French State Holdings Agency announced late on Wednesday highly successful subscriptions to FDJ's IPO on the regulated market of Euronext in Paris (Compartment A).


Over 500,000 orders were made as part of the open-price offer (for individuals and retailers of the FDJ network), as well as employees, with total demand exceeding 1.6 billion euros.

Based on the 99,320,000 shares sold by the State, 40.5% were allocated to individuals and retailers of the FDJ network as part of the open-price offer.

Given the results of the placement, the IPO price of FDJ shares for institutional investors was set at 19.90 euros. Due to the 2% discount granted to individual investors, their IPO price of FDJ shares was set at 19.50 euros.

The total number of FDJ shares sold by the State (including under the employee-only offer, the greenshoe option and the reserve of free shares) amounts to 99,320,000 for a gross amount of approximately 1,888 million euros, or about 52% of FDJ's capital.
