Verallia: presents ESG roadmap

(CercleFinance.com) - As part of the presentation of its ESG roadmap, Verallia says that it plans to invest around 220 million euros through to 2030 to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in all its business sectors.


The glass packaging manufacturer also intends to reduce the average weight of its standard non-returnable bottles and jars by 3% by 2025, and to plant 100,000 trees per year, aiming to plant a total of 500,000 trees p.a. by 2025.

In addition, amongst its social objectives, Verallia is committed to further promoting its employee shareholding policy that it implemented in 2016, so that employees hold 5% of the capital in 2025, compared to 3.3% today.
