URW: Jacques Richier proposed as board chairman

(CercleFinance.com) - Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) announced on Thursday that it has chosen Jacques Richier to replace Léon Bressler, who has reached retirement age limit, as chairman of its supervisory board.


Jacques Richier, 68, is currently chairman of the board of Allianz France (formerly AGF).

If the commercial property group's shareholders vote in favour at the general meeting on 11 May, he will head the supervisory board for a three-year term.

URW says that his appointment follows a rigorous search process conducted by both Roderick Munsters, the chairman of its governance, appointments and remuneration committee, and Cécile Cabanis, the vice-chair of the board.
