bioMérieux: 9m sales up 17.5%

(CercleFinance.com) - bioMérieux has reported 9m sales of 2,266 million euros (period ended 30 September 2020), up 17.
5%. Organic growth accelerated over the third quarter, reaching 19.4% for the first nine months of 2020.

The group posted significant growth of 26.5% in the third quarter, driven by the molecular biology ranges and a less marked slowdown in the immunoassay, clinical microbiology and industrial microbiology ranges than in the previous quarter.

For 2020, the in-vitro diagnostics specialist expects LFL sales growth of over 16%, with a contribution to profit from recurrent operations of over 520 million euros.
