Valeo: to unveil innovations at Munich trade show
(CercleFinance.com) - Valeo will present several major innovations at the IAA Mobility 2021 trade show in Munich this week (from 7 to 12 September).
Valeo has developed an ultraviolet air purifier for buses and coaches. It eliminates over 95% of viruses, microbes and bacteria.
For cars, Valeo has designed highly efficient air filters that block 96% of allergens and 99.4% of viruses, including coronavirus. Half new cars will be equipped with them within five years.
It has developed a vital signs detection device, capable of assessing health risks and, in particular, of presuming in less than two minutes - and without any contact - whether a person has Covid or not.
Valeo will present a system that enables a car to park itself in a car park (Automated Valet Parking).
Valeo will also present its Valeo Drive4U autonomous car prototype. It will be driving on an open road in Munich and will reach level 4 autonomy thanks to its equipment with Valeo sensors.
Finally, the Group will present new smart lighting systems that become real driving assistants.
