Spie: takes over Austrian firm FLM

(CercleFinance.com) - Spie reports that it has completed the acquisition of FLM Freileitungsmontagen GmbH, an Austrian company that mainly operates in Germany, supplying industrial climbers for the construction of overhead power lines.


"Thanks to FLM's expertise and strong team, we are strengthening our services in the area of transmission and distribution,” explained Markus Holzke, CEO of Spie Deutschland & Zentraleuropa.

The multi-technical services group underlines that FLM's 34 highly qualified industrial climbers (out of 44 employees), which generates production of around four million euros, are specially trained to operate in alpine and pre-alpine environments.
