Voltalia: starts building 17 photovoltaic units in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Renewable energy group Voltalia has announced that its subsidiary Helexia, a specialist in decentralized electricity production and energy efficiency, will produce 60 MW for the Brazilian mobilephone networks of Vivo, a Telefonica brand.


Helexia will therefore launch begin to build 17 decentralized photovoltaic units, notably in the Brazilian states of Rondônia, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Parana, which will supply its client Telefonica.

This deployment illustrates the strong synergies between Helexia and Voltalia, it said.

Voltalia said that the commercial operation of the photovoltaic units should begin in the first half of 2022.
