Voltalia: installed capacity tops one gigawatt

(CercleFinance.com) - Renewable energy group Voltalia has announced having an installed capacity of 1,015 megawatts at the end of December 2020.

It therefore exceeds the target of one gigawatt that it set for itself in 2016, an objective fulfilled while diversifying the group's portfolio of renewable energies.

"Thanks to a dynamic fourth quarter with significant additions to its installed capacity, Voltalia has increased its portfolio of installed plants by 18% since September 30, 2020," the group said.

In addition to the 1,000 megawatts of installed power worldwide at the end of December, it also exceeded the 1,000 megawatts of long-term electricity sales contracts won in 2020 and 1,000 employees on three continents at the end of December.
