Worldline: Oddo lowers target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Oddo BHF maintains its "outperform" rating on Worldline shares, trimming its target price for them from 70 euros to 60 euros, in its comments on the payment solutions provider and its peer Nexi, for which it is lowering its EPS estimates for 2023.


While it expects 2022 results to be broadly in line with expectations, the broker believes that there is limited potential for pleasant surprises this reporting season, even with better-than-expected 2023 guidance.

However, momentum should become more favourable from Q1 results onwards, the analyst says, underlining more favourable comparison bases with the Omicron wave, the embedded effect of inflation and the return of travel.
