Worldline: acquisition of Digital River World Payments.

(CercleFinance.com) - Worldline has announced that a definitive agreement has been signed with Digital River to acquire 100% of the capital of its Digital River World Payments (DRWP) subsidiary, a leading online global payment service provider.


Headquartered in Stockholm, DRWP employs approximately 120 people worldwide and generated gross revenues of approximately 37 million euros in 2016. It delivers comprehensive online payment acceptance and optimization solutions for leading enterprise brands.

This acquisition will enable Worldline to significantly expand its geographic coverage and its ability to meet the needs of global merchants. The group will integrate DRWP's merchant services line.
