Neoen: over 1 gigawatt of capacity in France

(CercleFinance.com) - Neoen today announced that it has crossed the threshold of one gigawatt of renewable energy capacity in operation or under construction in France, with the recent start of construction of new solar and wind assets, confirming its status as the leading independent producer in French.


In France the group has 55 power plants that are in operation, 22 under construction, over 140 employees and more than one billion euros already invested, putting France in second place in terms of capacity in operation or under construction, after Australia.

Present in France in solar energy, wind power and storage, in particular Neoen operates the most powerful solar park in the country, in Cestas in Gironde (300 MWp). A fifth regional office will soon open in Lyon.
