SFR: Competition Authority decision for NextRadioTV.

(CercleFinance.com) - The Competition Authority today authorised the acquisition of sole control by SFR Group of NextRadioTV.
It continues to be subject to the approval of the CSA, France's superior audiovisual council.

“This phase is the logical follow-up to the strategic partnership entered into in July 2015 between the Group and Alain Weill, which ensued in a minority indirect stake taken by Altice N.V. in NextRadioTV, which was taken over by the SFR Group in May 2016”, says the Group.

The integration of NextRadioTV into the SFR Group - controlled by Altice, an international group - will allow new projects to be launched and the capacity of existing channels to be strengthened.
