Areva: stock to be delisted on Monday.

(CercleFinance.com) - The AMF published on Thursday a notice in which it says that it authorises the French State, which currently holds 98.
36% of the group's capital, to launch a mandatory withdrawal of Areva in order to recover the balance of the shares that it does not yet hold.

"The mandatory withdrawal will take place on 21 August 2017 at a price of 4.5 euros per share" - out on the "1.64% of the capital" which is not yet held by the French State, said the French stockmarket authority, which believes that the regulatory conditions for a withdrawal have been met.

As a result, the shareholders of the world's leading civilian nuclear group will be required to tender their shares, which will enable the State to soon own the group's entire capital.

For the time being, the stock has been suspended from trading in Paris.
