Coface: acquisition in data analysis

(CercleFinance.com) - Coface has announced the acquisition of Rel8ed, a North American company specialising in data analysis, which will benefit the French group's businesses in both credit insurance and corporate information.


With offices in the US and Canada, Rel8ed specialises in the integration, cross-referencing and analysis of Big Data from multiple sources. Its clients include multinationals, public entities and professional associations.

Coface says that it has created a Data Lab in Paris in 2019 to strengthen the use of Data Sciences in order to optimise its risk assessments, and to develop new products and services, an approach that the acquisition of Rel8ed strengthens and enhances.
