Coface: raises FY target.

(CercleFinance.com) - Coface has announced an increase in its target annual claims ratio net of reinsurance for 2017, which is now expected to be less than 54%, which represents a four-point improvement from its previous guidance (under 58%).


The credit insurance group points out that the measures taken to strengthen its risk infrastructure are continuing to bear fruit, in the context of an improving economic environment internationally, with positive growth in all major regions in the world.

Coface's board of directors met on 27 September and was informed of preliminary financial information which showed a claims ratio net of reinsurance that is estimated at under 50% over the second half of 2017.
