Suez: completes acquisition of EnviroServ in South Africa

(CercleFinance.com) - On 30 September Suez and its partners RBH (Royal Bafokeng Holdings) and AIIM African Infrastructure Investment Managers completed the acquisition of EnviroServ Proprietary Holdings Limited ("EnviroServ") and its subsidiaries.


Since its inception in 1979, EnviroServ has been collecting, treating and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at treatment and storage facilities across South Africa, Mozambique and Uganda.

The company is billed as South Africa's largest waste management company.

With over 2,200 employees and revenues of over 80 million euros, EnviroServ contributes to the development of the circular economy by recycling 125,000 tonnes of waste each year and managing 1.7 million tonnes of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
