Suez: net income more than doubles in H1

(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has published H1 net income, group share of 212 million euros, up 135% (+14% excluding extraordinary items), with EBIT of 645 million euros, organic growth of 4.
8%, with each of its divisions making positive contributions.

The utilities group posted sales of 8,656 million euros, up 3.7% on a gross basis, including organic growth of +3.5% and changes from its consolidation scope representing -0.6% - this was offset by an FX impact of +0.7%.

Suez has confirmed its FY 2019 targets, including organic sales growth of +2% to 3% and organic growth in EBIT of +4% to 5%. At its AGM, to be held in May 2020, it intends to propose a dividend of 0.65 euro per share for 2019.
