Suez: nominates new CEO

(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has announced that at its meeting on Thursday its board of directors unanimously appointed Bertrand Cammus as CEO as of 14 May 2019, when Jean-Louis Chaussade's term of office ends.


Bertrand Camus has a long operational experience after his stint in charge of the group's North American businesses and more recently Suez's water business in France. Today, he is deputy CEO, in charge of Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

This appointment is subject to his designation as a director at Suez's AGM on 14 May. The company's management board will select the successor of its current chairman, Gérard Mestrallet, by the end of the first quarter of 2019.
