Suez: signs new urban cleaning contracts in France

(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has wins a third urban cleaning contract in Reims, effective from 1 April 2019.

This contract follows similar contracts in Marseille (September 2017) and Bordeaux (September 2018). These contracts together represent cumulative revenues of over 114 million euros.

In Reims, the group's urban cleaning contract of the town centre has been renewed, as has that relating to cleaning the market area. To ensure a high quality service and modernise it, Suez will rely on digital applications for pedestrians and vehicles.

In Bordeaux, since September 2018, Suez has managed the urban cleaning of the town centre through the door-to-door collection of garbage, the collection of points of voluntary contributions, the collection of bulky items and the cleaning of districts (bins , roads, street furniture, weeding).

Finally, in Marseille, since September 2017, the group and Noé Concept have innovated in urban cleaning, the collection and sorting of waste from the 65,000 inhabitants of the 1st and 2nd arrondissements.
