Suez: wins new contracts worth 70 million euros in Sweden

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning, Suez announced that it has won two new waste processing contracts in Sweden amounting to 70 million euros, along with a remediation contract.


“The Group will provide services in advanced recycling schemes to Malmö and Växjö in order to continuously increase recycling and recovery rates,” Suez said. Indeed, “every household will sort waste into 9 different fractions... These major contracts, to start in 2019 for a period of 7 and 9 years including 2-year extensions, will bring service to c. 250,000 inhabitants,” it added.

The group has also been awarded its first remediation contract at a former paint factory located in Gislaved.
