Getlink: nearly 125,000 trucks use tunnel in March

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink, the operator of the Channel Tunnel, announces that its passenger shuttles transported 94,713 passenger cars, while Shuttle Freight, nearly 125,000 trucks, in March, down respectively 46% and 18% y-o-y, with an unfavourable comparison basis.


These figures also need to be put into perspective, due to the lockdowns imposed by the French and British governments. Getlink estimates that 65,000 trips have been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
