Getlink: 15% increase in half-yearly net profits

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink (ex Eurotunnel) publishes its figures for the first half of 2018 with net profits up 15% to 39 million euros and EBITDA up 5% to 250 million to make for a turnover growth of 4% to 510 million euros.


The Group points out that the turnover and current operating income continue to be characterised by considerable seasonality over the year and that its results for the first half-year cannot therefore be extrapolated to the entire financial year.

Horizon 2022, the Channel-Tunnel operator remains confident as to its ability to generate sustainable growth and continues to bank on EBITDA growing. It thereby reconfirms its 2018 objectives and its mid-term prospects.
