Eurotunnel: passenger shuttle traffic up 3% in August.

(CercleFinance.com) - Eurotunnel has announced that passenger shuttle traffic rose by 3% y-o-y in August, with 361,902 vehicles transported.
and traffic of the Freight Shuttle was up 1% to 127,729 trucks (the best month of August in its history).

Thus, Eurotunnel set new records in the summer of 2017, with Le Shuttle passenger numbers reaching nearly 564,000 vehicles transported over the school holiday period from 17 July to 3 September.

Since 1 January, passenger shuttle traffic has fallen slightly, with 1,832,356 vehicles transported (-1%), while Shuttle Freight has transported 1,080,000 trucks, down 2% y-o-y.
