Scor: working hard to improve profitability

(CercleFinance.com) - In reaction to the decision taken on 16 November by S&P Global Ratings to downgrade its financial strength and long-term issuer credit ratings from "AA-" to "A+" (with a stable outlook), Scor says it is doing everything possible to improve its profitability.


Indeed, the reinsurer acknowledges that it has gone through a difficult period, but claims that it has nevertheless managed to maintain a high level of solvency and that it is actively pursuing a series of strong measures to improve its technical profitability.

Adding that the environment of the coming year is favourable, the French group states that it is actively preparing January 2023 contract renewals, which will be entirely focused on technical profitability.
