Scor: Berenberg raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Berenberg raised its target price for Scor shares to 37 euros (from 36 euros), in a report that had a decidedly optimistic tone regarding the reinsurance sector.


In its comments, the German broker explains that, based on its discussions with several professionals, it has become clear that not only are reinsurers' rates set to rise, but that this momentum should be accompanied by an increase in margins as a result of the increase in claims, changes in risk perception and the rise in interest rates.

The broker has a buy recommendation on Scor shares - it also recommends investors buy Munich Re and Swiss Re shares too.
