Scor: creates net-zero insurance alliance

(CercleFinance.com) - Scor has announced the creation, together with seven of the world's largest insurance and reinsurance companies, of the Net-Zero Insurance Alliance (NZIA), to accelerate the transition to a more resilient economy without greenhouse gas emissions.


As a founding signatory, Scor is committed to reducing all direct and indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from its reinsurance underwriting portfolios to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

Scor will also encourage the implementation of corporate reporting standards and global action frameworks for a transition to net zero emissions in the insurance sector.
