Scor: agency A.M. Best upgrades ratings.

(CercleFinance.com) - Scor has announced that the rating agency A.
M. Best has upgraded its rating for Scor's financial strength from "A" ("excellent") to A+" ("superior"), upping its credit rating for the group from "a +" to "aa-".

According to A.M. Best, this decision reflects Scor's high and resilient operating profitability, combined with the excellent level of its risk-adjusted capitalisation, obtained in market conditions that remain difficult.

This decision by A.M. Best follows upgrades of our rating to "AA-" by S&P and Fitch in 2015 and to "Aa3" by Moody's in 2016, said Scor CEO Denis Kessler. "We are approaching the renewals season with excellent momentum".
