ADP: is State in a hurry to sell stake?

(CercleFinance.com) - According to information published this morning in the financial daily Les Echos, big investors (which, at the forefront include Vinci, IFM Investors and Macquarie) have informed to the State that they do not wish to participate in a minority sale
process, in the sensitive case of the privatisation of the airport operator ADP.

Therefore, the authorities would have to sell the entire 50.6% in the group, or else lose significant potential candidates and the best price. If it has the option of a selling its stake by "blocks" of minority stakes, this does not seem to interest the biggest investors.

According to the latest schedule provided, the privatisation process could occur towards the end of the first half of 2019, before being closed by the end of the year. Remember that the State will have the last say on the name of the main investor. In addition, in October the finance minister, Bruno Le Maire said on the radio station Europe 1 that he would not let a foreign group take control of ADP.
