Arkema: acquires stake in ERPRO 3D Factory (E3DF)

(CercleFinance.com) - The chemical group Arkema today announced that it is acquiring a 10% stake in ERPRO 3D Factory (E3DF), a French company that operates in mass production additive manufacturing, which in particular, works with 100% biosourced polyamide 11 powder.


Arkema says that this capital investment will provide access to new expertise and accelerate the development of new applications for its high-performance polymers in the field of 3D printing.

This transaction is bang in line with Arkema's strategy to deploy its Specialty Materials in applications that meet the major challenges of sustainable development, the company says.

Arkema will also join E3DF's strategic committee, thereby strengthening the partnership that has existed between them since 2018.
