Legrand: 2019 earnings up 8.2%

(CercleFinance.com) - Legrand has 2019 published net income, group share that is up 8.
2% at 834.8 million euros, with an adjusted operating margin (at 2018 scope) of 20.4% of sales, up 0.2 point.

Revenues totalled 6,622.3 million euros, up 10.4%, with growth at constant consolidation and exchange rates of 2.6%, driven both by mature countries (+2.6%) and new economies (+2.5%).

The board of directors will submit for approval at its AGM, the payment a dividend of 1.42 euro per share for 2019 (against 1.34 euros for 2018).
The market clearly likes this, with the share up over 4.5% in Paris on Thursday afternoon.
