Legrand: H1 earnings up 23%

(CercleFinance.com) - Legrand has reported H1 2018 net income, group share that is up 23.
3% at 390 million euros, with an adjusted operational margin before acquisitions (2017 consolidation scope) that is up 0.7 point at 21.1% of sales.

The electrical equipment manufacturer's sales reached 2,986.8 million euros, up 11.8% as reported, with organic growth of 5.2%, of which 4.1% was in mature countries and 8.1% in new economies.

Legrand has confirmed all its targets for 2018, with organic sales growth of between 1% and 4%, and an adjusted operating margin before acquisitions are taken into account (2017 consolidation scope) of between 20% and 20.5% of sales.
