Legrand: two external growth deals

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning, Legrand announces two external growth operations with total sales of approximately 60 million euros per year.


The financial conditions of the deals have not been specified.

The French electrical equipment and systems specialist will buy Shenzhen Clever Electronic, cited as the “Chinese leader in intelligent PDUs for data centers”. Employing approximately 360 people, the Shenzhen-based target company achieves some 24 million euros in annual sales, 80% of which in China.

Legrand also plans to take a majority stake in Debflex, a company presented as a “French forerunner in electrical equipment for DIY activities”. Its sales come to around 35 million euros for a headcount of approximately 120.
