Ipsen: signs collaboration deal in Canada

(CercleFinance.com) - Ipsen, the pan-Canadian research commercialization center IRICoR and the University of Montreal announce that they have reached a collaboration agreement giving Ipsen the option to acquire exclusive global rights to a program that has a high potential in oncology.


Led by the University, the program, which is currently at lead optimization stage, will focus on advancing the current lead molecules to the development candidate stage.

The University and IRICoR will be responsible for conducting and funding the research program until the exercise of the license option. If Ipsen decides to exercise the option, it would assume all development activities and commercialize the drug candidate globally.
