EDF: raises forecast for nuclear energy production

(CercleFinance.com) - In a brief statement, the electricity generator EDF says that it has raised its estimated nuclear production estimate in France for 2020, to about 315-325 TWh, compared with 300 TWh estimated on 16 April.


This revision is due to an adjustment in the duration of the scheduled stops in 2020, taking into account the conditions for the resumption of activities noted at sites. The production forecast for 2021 and 2022 remains unchanged at this stage.
