EDF: Goldman Sachs upgrades to buy, raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Goldman Sachs Equity Research today announces that it has upgraded its rating on the EDF share, believing that it could benefit from regulatory reform in the nuclear sector.


"In our view, regulating the French nuclear fleet would have the benefit of protecting EDF from lower power prices while improving the multiple of the business. This, in our view, should allow a continuation of its re-rating," the broker said.

The broker has therefore raised its target price for the share from 10.60 euros to 16.60 euros.
