EDF: acquisition of photovoltaic assets in China

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF Renouvelables announces the acquisition, in China, of a majority stake in a portfolio of 77 MWp of photovoltaic rooftop installations from Asia Clean Capital (ACC).


Implemented between 2017 and 2018, these 17 installations all benefit from a contract for the sale of electricity. They have been installed close to companies such as Danone, Coca-Cola, Nestle, as well as Chinese industrial groups, such as Wahaha or Wuhan Iron & Steel.

Thanks to this acquisition, EDF Renouvelables now has a gross amount of over 413 MW in clean energy (wind and solar power) that is being built or which is operation in China, including nearly 100 MWp gross solar roof capacity operated in partnership with ACC.
