EDF: Jefferies upgrades to 'buy'.

(CercleFinance.com) - Jefferies has upgraded its rating on EDF from "hold" to "buy", believing that the share of the French electricity giant could surprise pleasantly.


EDF is expected to benefit from an increase in the price of coal, which the broker thinks is likely, also pointing out that EDF's debt now seems more manageable.

Jefferies has also raised its target price for the share from 11 euros to 15 euros.
