Alstom: opens innovation centre in Quebec

(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday Alstom announced the creation of a new innovation centre dedicated to green rail mobility solutions.


This structure will be located within Alstom's Americas headquarters in St-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec (Canada).

This innovation centre's primary aim will be to develop future green hybrid, battery or hydrogen propulsion platforms specifically adapted to the North American market for the transport of goods and people by rail, and thus meet the sector's decarbonisation needs.

The installation of the centre in St-Bruno will ensure an unprecedented synergy thanks to its proximity to Alstom's 500 or so engineers. The site will also benefit from state-of-the-art virtual and augmented reality equipment to enable it to optimise the development activities of future green propulsion platforms.
