Alstom: 49 Citadis tramways for Nantes Métropole

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces a deal - recorded for accounting purposes in the second quarter of its current financial year - under which it will supply 49 Citadis tramways to Nantes Métropole for an amount close to 200 million euros.


Seven of its thirteen sites in France will contribute to the design and manufacture of this tramway: La Rochelle, Le Creusot, Ornans, Valenciennes, Aix en Provence, Saint-Ouen, and Villeurbanne.

To date, more than 2,600 Citadis tramways have been sold to more than 50 towns in 20 countries in the world, 23 of which in France, with close to 20 years' experience and more than a billion kilometres travelled.
