Alstom: regional train contract in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning, Alstom, the French railway equipment supplier, announced that it has won a contract worth close to 120 million euros with the German operator DB Regio, which for the supply of 19 Coradia Continental regional trains.


The trains will be manufactured on Alstom's site in Salzgitter, Germany.

"Beginning in December 2022, the new trains will be gradually deployed on the routes from Karlsruhe to Heilbronn, Achern, as well as via Freudenstadt to Herrenberg," the group added.

To date, over 2,800 Coradia trains have been ordered.
