Alstom: revenue up 2% in Q1

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces that for its first quarter of 2019/20 (from 1 April to 30 June), it has seen a 39% spike in orders to 1.
6 billion euros, with its revenues up 2% to 2.1 billion (+1% at constant scope and exchange rates).

The French transport industry supplier specifies that its revenues have been marked by a downturn in systems activity compensated by significant growth in the signalling and rolling stock business.

Alstom considers that its order book gives good visibility (40 billion euros as at 30 June) for a year 2019/20 “of stabilisation of growth after a 2018/19 fiscal year with an exceptional sales and profitability growth”.
