Alstom: inaugurates Tangiers-Casablanca high-speed rail link
(CercleFinance.com) - Today Alstom is participating in the inauguration of the Tangiers-Casablanca high-speed rail link, with its very high-speed trains supplied and delivered to the Moroccan National Railways Office (ONCF).
Alstom has provided the ONCF with 12 very high-speed trains for the Tangiers-Casablanca section, as well as the ERTMS Level 1 and Level 2 ERTMS system for trains. The trains will run at a speed of 320 km/h between Tangiers and Kenitra, the first (180 km) stretch of the network. Between Kenitra and Casablanca (200 km), the trains will join the conventional network, on which they will run at a speed of 160 km/h. Copyright (c) 2018 CercleFinance.com. All rights reserved. |
