Alstom: wins contract in Germany.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday afternoon Alstom announced that it has equipped the entire ICE high-speed fleet of Deutsche Bahn (Germany) with its Atlas 200 embedded control systems (ETCS / ERTMS level 2 baseline 3), as part of the "German Unity Transport VDE 8" project.


The high-speed section between Erfurt (Thuringia) and Ebensfels (Bavaria) will become operational on 10 December. This line connects Berlin to Munich, via Erfurt and Nuremberg.
