Engie: withdraws FY 2020 targets

(CercleFinance.com) - Engie has decided to withdraw its financial targets that it previously set for 2020.


The group "will provide an updated view on its consequent financial outlook to 2022 in due course".

On Wednesday evening, the group stated that at this stage it is impossible to accurately estimate the impact of the crisis on its results due to uncertainties regarding its duration and severity.

The Board of Directors has also decided to cancel the 2019 dividend of 0.80 euro per share, although has confirmed its commitment to pay a dividend in the future.

The Shareholders' General Meeting will be held as planned on 14 May, 2020, in a remote format without physical attendance, to be announced shortly.
