Engie: acquires Powerlines

(CercleFinance.com) - Engie announces that it has just signed an agreement, with its subsidiary Engie Ineo, for the acquisition of Powerlines, one of the main European players in the electrification of public transport.


The energy group explains that this will reinforce its involvement with its private and public clients in favour of a more virtuous mobility in terms of traffic, air quality and the optimisation of public transport networks.

Providing state-of-the-art expertise in urban and interurban public transport modes, Powerlines focuses on the Central European markets and is one of the leading players in the sector in German-speaking countries, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.
