Bureau Veritas: acquisition in Australia.

(CercleFinance.com) - Bureau Veritas is continuing its extensive acquisitions policy.


After trading on Wednesday the group announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire 65% of the capital of McKenzie Group Pty Ltd., the Australian leader of regulatory compliance in real estate. The transaction is set to be finalised by the end of the year, in accordance with the usual terms of completion.

Founded in 1988 and based in Sydney, the McKenzie Group offers a range of integrated services on compliance, including certification, auditing, and technical assistance, as well as the assessment of the accessibility of buildings. These services are for both building companies and property developers in the public and private sectors.

Following this acquisition, Bureau Veritas will have over 2,000 employees in Australia.
