Amundi: quarterly profit up 13.2%.

(CercleFinance.com) - Amundi has published Q1 2017 net attributable profit of 147 million euros, up 13.
2%, as well as a cost-income ratio that has improved by 2.2 points to 51.5 percent, with net income rising 9.3% to 432 million euros.

Assets managed by the company reached 1,128 billion euros as at 31 March 2017, thanks to robust activity (+32.5 billion euros in net new money) and a positive market effect (+12.5 billion euros) related to a better market environment.

CEO Yves Perrier said that the forthcoming integration of Pioneer Investments, which should be effective towards the end of the first half, will amplify this momentum and strengthen Amundi's leadership in Europe.
